I am preocupied with the interaction between the digital and the physical. Toward that end I recently built a Makerbot 3D printer (more at Makerbot.com) and have been logging the progress at MSPMakerbot.com.
Tech enthusiasts from the local community suggested that I act on my instinct that there be a group in the metro for 3D printing enthusiasts. I thought that'd be a great idea.
